Creative leader Richard Pasqua has designed highly successful digital experiences and products for some of the world’s most iconic brands. His strong track record of building and managing profitable creative businesses ranges from boutique design shops to global agencies and he has helped grow and reshape many prominent agencies and startups. His extensive expertise in next-gen creative development includes data-informed applications, mobile and IoT, and UX design for the next wave of consumer experiences powered by Blockchain.
As founder and creative director of Men In Grey Suits, a boutique design firm in New York, Richard has built a scalable business that focuses on customer experience design, branding, and platform development for a diverse array of clients, from Coach Inc. to the Hyperloop. Before founding Men In Grey Suits, Richard held roles as Executive Creative Director for FutureBrand and CXO of global publisher Newsweek Media Group, (formally IBT Media) where he led product development for all brands in the portfolio. Prior to Newsweek Media Group, Richard sold his first startup, Token, to Northpoint Digital, where he led all creative and was instrumental in corporate development efforts that led to the acquisition of Northpoint by Ernst and Young in 2015. Previous to founding Token, Richard founded the customer experience division of renowned branding firm, Siegel+Gale and spent several years as Creative Director for Nickelodeon Digital where he built the Nickelodeon brands into the most popular destination on the web for kids and parents as well as the most lucrative and award-winning properties in the portfolio of parent company, Viacom.
An accomplished speaker on the future of design thinking, Richard has spoken at BECS-Blockchain Ethereum Crypto Summit and AIA-American Institute of Architects and is the recipient of numerous design awards including Webby, W3, Broadcast design, One Show, London International Advertising Awards and many others. A graduate of Long Island University, CW Post, he is proud to give back as a mentor to young creatives through his frequent lectures at New York design schools.
In his free time, Richard enjoys producing music, cycling, building analog electronic instruments and spending time with his family. Richard is also an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America, helping kids enjoy the outdoors and become future leaders.
His artistic collaborations as a designer, composer, writer, and photographer include work with Altoids, Joshua Davis/Praystation, Virtual Voodoo, Aranda+Lasc, Terraswarm Architects, Vernon Reid of Living Colour, Linda Zacks Studios and Chris Burk/Glowmag to name but a few. An active writer, speaker, and judge at design events and conferences, his creative and design excellence has been recognized and honored by numerous organizations, and he has received multimedia and broadcast awards from around the world.
